Day 19 / Garden Spider

I started this painting when I was working on Photosynthesis to prepare for the spider in that piece. Well, I didn’t finish it until now! I spent many hours lamenting over this piece. There are buried jewels, gems, a moonstone, broken glass, shells, handmade watercolor, and 24k gold leaf. It is 8’’x6’’ and painted on a birch panel. It can hang on the wall as is. Some of my collectors put pieces like this one in shadow boxes.
