My tools and materials are seriously out of control. I make my own paints with traditional and non traditional pigments. So, I collect things to use in my paints. I also have a screen printing studio and I do electroforming. So there’s a lot more going on than what is in these photos. Once I finish organizing (I just moved my studio), I will do a video of the space!
I know I have been quiet. I have neglected my project. But not really. I have been writing in my journal every night, and preparing for longer, more involved posts. I have also been immensely busy making work. Commissions have been coming in consistently (thank you!!!), and it is the season for art fair preparation. I have to make a lot of work for these fairs. It is what I love doing, but it keeps me so busy! All good things.
My art fair applications are coming back. All good news so far. I will announce when and where, soon! I also have two projects that I have been laboring on that I haven’t had the courage to share yet. I am so excited about it all. Thanks for sticking with me. I hope you enjoy these new pieces!
This is a 5’’x7’’ Spanish Luna greeting card with an envelope. Each is a hand-pulled, screen print that is hand colored with my unique, handmade watercolors. I then add gold leaf to each piece. Many people frame these cards. Make your next gift even more special by sending them a message they will keep forever.
The card you receive will be similar to the one pictured, but will have differences. Each piece is a unique, one of a kind artwork. No two are exactly the same.
The mix pack comes with a spanish luna, a moon, and a blue butterfly.
This exquisite piece is an intricate ink painting of a morpho butterfly (Morpho cisseis phadena). I consider this one of the best paintings of a butterfly I have made. It has spent the last couple years at my mother’s home—but she has such a huge art collection, it never made it on her wall! So I am re-listing it, because it is one of my favorites and it needs to be out in the world. I spent so much time to get the gradation on the wings correct. And the frame on this piece is really beautiful, as well. It is adorned with silver leaf and brushed with mica.
This piece is approximately 12’’x12’’, and comes framed and ready to hang on your wall.
Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.
This is a 24'' x24'' painting on a .5'' birch panel. It is ready to hang on your wall. This beautiful piece is made out of handmade watercolors, embeded moon stones, and glass. It sparkles, it glows, and it is completely unique. This piece would look fabulous in your bedroom, or above a fire place.

When I was a child I approached nature with wonder and amazement. Her symmetry, color, and fractals captivated my mind constantly. My earliest memories were playing in my grandmother’s garden, never wondering what compelled her to convert every inch of her back yard into growing plants, buzzing with pollinators. This experience opened up my mind to the beauty of photosynthesis, our basis for life.
This piece is meant to honor photosynthesis and express our symbiotic relationship. It is painted using handmade paints made out of pigment from found material like my grandmother’s crushed antique jewelry, various pigments from the earth, broken glass, and other material I have collected over the years. The glitter represents the child’s perspective and natural wonder for everything, while the broken jewelry and glass represents nature’s fragility.
I am part of the Photosynthesis Project, a long-term project by a group of professional artists working together in the theme of Photosynthesis, and what that means to us. She will be exhibited throughout the month of November at the Center for New Media, along with the other artists in the Photosynthesis Project. She is available for purchase. I am requiring 10% down to reserve her. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this artwork. firstname.lastname@example.org
She is painted on a fine-art birch panel that is 2’’ thick and 24’’x36’’ in size, and can be framed to your liking.
This is an original painting of a snail in a tiny shadow box. It will sit on a shelf, or hang on the wall. The painting is adorned with 18k gold leaf. Approximately 3’’x4’’. This is a lovely addition to your gallery wall, or book shelf.
As always, do not hesitate to ask me any questions. I do custom framing, as well.
